Mother's day

M = is for the millions of love you gave me.
O = is for the overjoy times we spent together.
T = is for the talented skills you have.
H = is for the hard work you did for us kids.
E = is for the beautiful eyes you have.
R = is for when you are always right.

Mum, I just want you to know how much I love you. If there is ever a year we can't be together, keep me in your heart and I will keep you in mine forever. I love how you are stronger than you seem, you are smarter than you think and loved more than you know by me.

To the world you are just an ordinary Mother, but to your family you are the world.

  1. Fakalofa Lahi atu, I’m Shontelle from Belfast School. I really enjoyed reading this poem for Mothers Day. I love how you used a acronym poem, I think that it was a great touch. This was an exceptional post and I’m glad I got the chance to read it. Are you planning on doing a post like this for Fathers Day? If you are I can’t wait to read about that as well. Keep up the good work!

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
